Cube FP&A Implementation & Consulting Experts
Fadmoor’s deep Cube FP&A experience helps finance teams get more from their investment from day one. As Cube implementation experts, we bring clean, governed data into the Excel and Google Sheets your team already uses—building a scalable foundation for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting without costly rework.
No rip-and-replace
Bi-directional sync keeps working inside Excel, Sheets, and PowerPoint.
Traceable AI
Every AI output drills back to the source transaction — nothing presented as fact unless it's auditable.
Finance-owned
Built for FP&A teams to model, forecast, and report without relying on IT for every change.
BEFORE YOU BOOK A CALL
The questions we get asked first
If you're evaluating this for your team, these are probably already on your mind. Straight answers, no sales deck required.
No — this is the part most finance teams are relieved by. Cube layers underneath the spreadsheets you already use instead of replacing them, so there's no migration where your team stops working in Excel for a few months while a new system gets stood up.
Most teams start with a single workflow — usually close/consolidation or the annual budget — and expand from there once it's proven out, rather than a big-bang rollout on day one.
BI tools are built for viewing data — they're one-directional. Cube is built for the two-way work of planning: budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modeling, where changes need to flow back into the model, not just out to a chart.
A useful test: think about what happens today when a number needs to be corrected upstream of your dashboard. If that's a manual, multi-step process, that's exactly the gap this closes.
That reaction makes sense — legacy EPM suites are typically code-heavy, IT-dependent, and can take six to twelve months to stand up, largely because they ask your team to leave their native tools for a new interface.
Cube is built the other way around: finance keeps working in Excel and Sheets, and no code is required to make day-to-day changes to the model. If a prior evaluation stalled on cost, timeline, or IT bandwidth, that's worth a direct conversation — those are usually the exact constraints this is designed around.
Fair question — in finance, "mostly right" isn't good enough. Every AI-generated output in Cube — a variance explanation, a forecast adjustment, a board narrative — is traceable back to the underlying transaction. Nothing is presented as fact unless it can be audited as fact.
We'd rather show this live than describe it — it's the part of the walkthrough most finance leaders want to see with their own data.
You can — but most FP&A rollouts that stall don't stall on the software. They stall on the setup: chart-of-accounts design, source-system mapping, and getting finance (not just IT) fluent in the system from day one.
Fadmoor is an implementation partner, not a reseller. Our job doesn't end when the software is installed — it ends when your team is actually using it, trusts it, and doesn't need us in the room day-to-day.
It depends on your entity count, how many source systems need to connect, and the scope of the engagement — a full implementation, a system health-check, or staff augmentation. We'd rather scope it honestly on a short call than quote a number that doesn't fit your setup.
HOW IT COMPARES
Where this fits next to what you already have
A plain-terms comparison, not a sales pitch — worth knowing before a call.
WHAT YOU'RE COMPARING IT TO
WHERE CUBE + FADMOOR FITS
Excel / Google Sheets alone
You keep the interface. Cube fixes what's underneath it one governed data model instead of a chain of linked, manually-reconciled files.
Legacy EPM platforms
Typically longer to implement and more IT-dependent, because users leave their native tools. This keeps finance working in Excel and Sheets, and is designed to stand up faster.
BI / dashboard tools
Strong for viewing historical data, not built for two-way planning edits. This supports both directions — data flows out to reports and back in from your changes.
Point AI / finance-copilot tools
Many generate answers with no traceable link to source data. Every output here can be drilled back to the transaction level.
